Vindictive

Yes, I think we all know what the word means, however, what’s not so obvious is that dealing with vindictive behavior is now a big part of my life.

She badmouths me to people we both know. She damages my things. She vilifies me to Emma.
Those are just the things I know about. If she’s capable of ramming a screwdriver into my computer, what else is she doing that I don’t know about?

For a long time I dismissed any possibility of her being vindictive. I mean, we’re married, surely she wouldn’t do anything harmful to me?

Susan has her moments, sure, but she wouldn’t do X or Y or Z, she wouldn’t stoop that low.

Oh dear God, how wrong I was. There is a real badness in Susan.
