Narcissistic Elation

Narcissistic elation: When they seem to be high or euphoric.

Back in the days when I used to think Susan was bipolar (or some such) at times when she wasn’t belligerent she’d seem to be high as a kite. She’d be so happy it was euphoric.

Retrospectively, I think what she was experiencing was a phenomenon known as Narcissistic elation.

Elation means a feeling of great happiness, joy, or triumphant excitement. It’s an intense, uplifting emotion that goes beyond just being pleased or content - it’s some serious happy feelings.

Narcissistic elation happens as a result of things like:

  • Getting a nice dose of praise or worship.
  • Getting chosen for something.
  • Feeling like they’ve won (or probably got one up on you).

Or in Susan’s case, tit was the joy/elation she experienced when something bad happened to me or she turned out to be right after all.

Like a vampire, Susan feeds from the world around her. All the happenings that she consumes serve her. She has no feelings for them at all, only the feelings of elation she gets from consuming them. Parasitic bitch!
