Entitlement

Entitlement is at the core of everything narcissism. I’d go so far as to say that each of the rubber-stamps such as, blame-shifting, leveling, mirroring, belligerence, revision of history, magical thinking, gaslighting, discard, devaluing, baiting, punishment, boasting, controlling, facade-maintenance, lack-of-empathy, seeking-praise, expecting-special-treatment and so on could also get a rubber-stamp of “entitlement”. All of those behaviors are entitled in nature because they are indulgent, self-gratifying, selfish and disrespectful.

Observing her, the entitlement is one of the more obvious features of her personality:
Susan never orders directly from the menu, she always has to ask for more of something and less of something else #special-treatment, #entitlement.
She confiscates household items as punishment #entitlement.
She’s impatient and will generally just barge through rather than wait #entitlement.
She constantly asks others to do stuff and favors for her #entitlement.
She won’t pay for anything if she can get away with it #entitlement.
Her doom-scrolling is loud and very annoying #entitlement.
Regularly claims ownership of the house while kicking me out while I pay the mortgages and all the bills #entitlement.

And so on, you get the point. Most of what she does has an entitled twang to it.
