I am not allowed under any circumstances to use the washing machine or the dryer ( #control ) .

End of. No ifs, no buts. No exceptions ( #control #authoritarian ) .

I don’t. It’s not worth it ( #fawn-response ) . There is just one essential exception but it’s a military precision covert operation, timed to perfection to avoid detection. I wash trainers as needed because she simply refuses to wash them ( #fawn-response ) .
