Two lightbulbs

The hallway in our house is T shaped. There’s two light pendants hanging from the ceiling. One at one end of the hallway, the other at the other end of the hallway. One was enough apparently. One mysteriously stopped working not long after we moved into the house ( #vindictive ) . As I replaced the bulb I noticed something more sinister and deliberately wrong.

Background:

• She had a thing about light shining through the door / under the door of “her” bedroom ( #control #entitlement ) .
• She had a thing about wasting electricity ( #control ) .

Both things were obsessive and ridiculous BTW and enforced with rage ( #narcissistic-rage #control ) .

I never bothered to fix it when I saw what it was ( #grey-rocking ) .
