A trash incident

Going back years ago before we bought our house we were renting a nice house in a housing estate. There was a small green area adjacent to our house.

I woke up one morning to an angry neighbor knocking on our door, she was making a crazy accusation about us apparently emptying trash into the green area. Laughable of course, certainly not us. Oh wait, it was us. That night, that drunk night, Susan had emptied all our garbage onto the green area ( #trouble-maker #entitlement ) .

She denied it of course but the evidence was undeniable. She still denied it ( #gaslighting #history-revision ) . I vowed to leave her that day. I didn’t ( #codependency #trauma-bond ) .
